《摩登家庭》S5E7：“發脾氣”英語怎麼說？

這一天是克萊爾和菲爾二十年的結婚紀念日，也是學校的遊園會。來看看發生了什麼！

1. make it

make it的意思是非常成功，make it相關的短語有這些：

①make it a rule 按規矩；按照習慣，遵循常規

I make it a rule not to eat fatty foods.

我不吃油膩的食物，這是我的習慣。

②make it big 功成名就，飛黃騰達

③make it quick/fast/snappy （讓別人）動作快點

Take him to the hospital - and make it quick!

送他去醫院，動作快點！

2. tantrum

卡梅隆指導的足球隊這幾天的比賽中屢戰屢敗，有家長威脅他這次比賽再沒有起色就讓孩子退隊，卡梅隆很難過生氣。

tantrum指的是耍（孩子）脾氣，發脾氣是throw a tantrum。

Charlie had/threw a tantrum in the shop because I wouldn't buy him any sweets.

因爲我不給他買糖，查理便在商店裏耍脾氣。

If she doesn't get her own way she has temper tantrums.

如果不順着她，她就會耍脾氣。

3. sweat

sweat做動詞是流汗，出汗，冒汗，有個超可愛的短語是sweat like a pig：

I was so afraid, I was sweating like a pig (= sweating a lot).

我害怕極了，渾身冒汗。
