1. knock it of
knock it off用來告訴別人別來煩自己，可以翻譯成“住嘴；住手”。
而讓人別說話，還可以說“hold your tongue”。
Hold your tongue, young man!
年輕人，別說話！
I'm going to have to learn to hold my tongue.
我以後得學會管住自己的嘴。
2. forced
這裏的forced是形容詞，表示被迫的，比如不得已做某事：
The plane had to make a forced landing because one of the engines failed.
由於一個引擎突然熄火，飛機只好迫降。
也可以形容（笑或情感）勉強的；不真誠的：
She tried hard to smile but suspected that it looked forced.
她努力微笑，但也覺得自己看上去笑得很勉強。
3. alibi
alibi是法律英語用詞，尤指沒有犯罪時間的“不在犯罪現場的證據”。
還可以用來表示“藉口，託詞”：
After eight years in power, the government can no longer use the previous government's policy as an alibi for its own failure.

4. take the high road
take the high road形容人堂堂正正的，補充road很實用的表達：
take to the road

黃泉路上徒有好意多（指空有好的意圖卻不付諸行動，則不僅無用，還會給自己帶來很多問題或懲罰）
