深夜的無名騎士

Late this evening,
入夜已深
I got a ride to the local grocery store.
我搭便車去附近的雜貨店買東西
After loading up my cart
我在購物車裏堆滿了商品
and checking out,
準備結賬
my phone dies
沒想到我的手機死機了
right as I'm about to confirm my uber.
就在我準備輸入支付密碼的時候
No portable charger on me
我身上沒有移動充電器
(none sold in the grocery store) ,
雜貨店裏也沒有賣的
no friends nearby,
沒有朋友在我身旁
I don't know the way back
我甚至不知道回去的路
and even if I did
就算我知道,
walking alone,
獨自回去
at night,
在這樣的深夜
as a female,
一個女人
is not a good idea
這可不是什麼好主意。
I of course had a panic attack.
理所當然的，我感到一陣恐慌
So this post is a thank you to Kameron,

A store employee
他是店裏的一個店員
who asked me what was wrong,
問我是不是遇到了什麼問題
was super friendly,
態度特別友好
found a charger,
爲我找到了充電器
and charged my phone.
幫我手機充了電
He helped me
他幫助了我
when no one else would,
當其他人漠不關心的時候
and by doing so
而且多虧他的幫助
got me home safe and sound.
我安全的回到了家裏
The world needs more Kamerons.
