337. 他這麼年輕就已經當上了英語系的副教授。
[誤] Young as he is, he has become a vice-professor in English department.
[正] Young as he is, he has become an associate professor in English department.
注：許多人都知道“副總統”叫 vice-president，於是想當然地以爲“副教授”就應該是 vice-professor，其實不對。“副”和 vice- 並不總是一一對應的，又如：副產品（by production），副業（side occupation），副作用（by-effect）等。
