託福口語 task2的考查形式是對於一個問題的同意與否或者一個話題的兩種可能或兩個方面的一方偏好。所以，答題的步驟首先需要考生表明自己的觀點，隨後再給出自己的理由作爲支撐。表明觀點對我們來說沒有太大的困難，套用簡單的模板加上句式的變化是很容易就能解決的。而在提供理由作爲支撐的部分，卻成爲廣大考生的絆腳石並。
主要的原因有以下幾個方面：1.對內容的陳述缺乏細節，繞圈子，意境朦朧，讓人覺得不知所云。2.對自己生活總結不足，不知道該說什麼，想說什麼，能說什麼。表達的時候缺乏信心。3.就算準備過的話題也覺得沒底，擔心考試的時候考的剛好是這個話題中自己沒有準備過的分項內容。那麼，如何有效地組織理由呢?在答題時，我們傾向於給出兩個理由作爲支撐，這樣組織起來的答案比較飽滿也不會超時。基本的方法有三個，我們以live with roommates VS. live alone爲例。
方法一、給出一方面的兩個有利條件。比如和室友住能夠獲得學習生活上的幫助;能夠學會如何和他人相處，抑或一個人住能享受自認空間;學會自立。
方法二、在考試時不能及時想出兩個理由時，則給出一方面的好處和另一方面的壞處。比如，和室友住能夠獲得學習生活上的幫助;一個人住遇到困難時只能自己解決，而很多突發狀況一個人是難以應付的。
然而，僅僅給出理由是遠遠不夠的，還需要進一步的論證。在之前我們有提到考生在回答時的困難有一點那就是對內容的陳述缺乏細節，繞圈子，意境朦朧，讓人覺得不知所云。這一點就在於如何進一步進行論證，在這裏給大家提供以下幾種簡單的論證方法並仍然以live with roommates VS. live alone爲例。
一、statistics 列數據擺事實
