Two seals swim together after they were set free in the German Waddensea off the island of Juist, Germany, on Aug. 6, 2009. A total of 71 abandoned young common seals were reared at the seal station this season.

2009年8月6日，德國Waddensea外的Juist島海域，兩隻海豹被放生後在一起游泳。海豹養殖基地本季總共餵養了71只被遺棄的普通小海豹。

A 12-day-old hippopotamus swims next to its mother, Chombi, at Malaysia's National Zoo in Kuala Lumpur. The baby hippopotamus has not yet been given a name.

馬來西亞Kuala Lumpur的國家動物園中河馬媽媽Chombi帶着12天大的小河馬一起游泳。小河馬還沒名字呢。

Gana, a mother gorilla, holds her young baby in their enclosure at the zoo in the western German city of Muenster. The baby, named Claudia, was born a day earlier at the zoo.

德國西部城市明斯特動物園的大猩猩媽媽戛納正緊緊抱着她的小寶寶。

Last year Gana's baby boy, Claudio, died and she carried around his body for days.

去年，戛納的小寶寶Claudio死了，戛納抱着屍體不放好幾天呢。
