一、常見英語詞性縮寫及其意義
1、及物動詞： 字典裏詞後標有vt. 的就是及物動詞。及物動詞後一般必須跟有動作的對象(即賓語)。必須加賓語意思才完整的動詞，就是及物動詞。
2、不及物動詞：不及物動詞是不需要受詞的動詞。字典裏詞後標有vi. 的就是不及物動詞。不及物動詞後不能直接跟有動作的對象(即賓語)。若要跟賓語，必須先在其後添加上某個介詞，如to,of ,at後方可跟上賓語。
3、名詞：Nouns (n.) 表示人或事物的名稱 box, pen,tree,apple
4、代詞：Pronouns (pron.)代替名詞、數詞、形容詞We, this, them,myself
5、形容詞： Adjectives(adj.) 用來修飾名詞，表示人或事物的特徵 good, sad, high, short

二、英語中的詞性縮寫
1. noun(n.) 名詞：to describe a person or thing

2. verb(v.) 動詞
