1. 大小寫快速切換
託福作文中大小寫切換是肯定要用到的，畢竟文章中每個句子開頭都必須是大寫，還有一些特定情況也需要用到大寫，打字時切換大小寫的方法其實很簡單，那就是掌握shift的正確使用方法，大家可以多練習用小指來按shift鍵來提升切換速度，注意左右手的小指都要練，保證能夠在盲打的情況下準確按到shift鍵是基本要求。另外，當需要連續輸入的大寫字母超過3個時，大家也需要用好Caps Lock鍵，這比起連續按shift鍵要方便很多。而在句子第一個字母需要大寫的時候，在寫完前一句打空格的同時考生就需要開始用小指去提前找shift鍵了。做到這3點，大家打字過程中的大小寫切換速度就能得到提升。
2. 熟悉標題符號和數字位置
雖然託福寫作中用到的標點符號一般只有逗號句號和感嘆號，但大家也需要提前記熟這些符號在鍵盤上的位置，保證自己能夠在想要用到的時候及時準確地按到而不是低頭看鍵盤確認。另外數字類符號的具體位置也要能做到盲打狀態下的準確按鍵。這些看似不起眼的地方都能幫助大家提升打字速度。而由於這些按鍵大多數都在無名指和小指的管理範圍內，所以大家也需要集中練習左右手這兩個手指的打字按鍵精準度。
