258. 日暮途窮。
[誤] The day is falling and the road is coming to an end.
[正] The night is falling and the road is coming to an end.
注：我們說的“日”英語應譯作“夜”。漢語的“日暮”除譯作 The night is falling 外，又可譯成 the night is closing in，或 night is coming(on)，或 it is getting dark。漢語的“途窮”，除如上照字面譯出的以外，又可譯爲 no road ahead，或意譯爲 straitened, in poor circumstances 等。
