新聞熱詞：如何表達“倒賣門票”

據報，丟臉的博茨瓦納足球官員布漢吉已宣佈退出國際足聯執委會。理由嘛，當然是他的“倒票醜聞”。在今年德國世界盃期間，布漢吉倒賣了12張英格蘭隊與特立尼達和多巴哥隊比賽的門票，不幸被當場抓獲。

報道中的ticket scalping就是“倒賣門票”，這裏着重談下單詞scalp。

Scalp原指“頭皮”。到了17世紀，scalp延伸爲“戰利品”——北美印第安人與敵人交戰時，若取勝，常把對方的頭皮剝下來作爲“戰利品”。再之後，scalp指“轉手倒賣並從中獲利”，可做動詞，如to scalp tickets to the baseball game（倒賣棒球比賽的門票）。
