I have a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as well as focus on my study. As it’s known to all, the Spring Festival is the Most important in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate it. Therefore, I finished my homework first, so that it won’t bother my enjoyment during the festival. I finished my home work in one week. And I went shopping with my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then, it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. My parents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinner was so delicious that I ate so full. In the next several days, my parents and I visited our relatives and friends or they visited us. Sometimes, we went out for fun together. We children were always the most excited. Now, holiday is coming to the end and I will go to school soon. I am so happy that I have a wonderful winter holiday.

I had to review each required subject and do lots of exercises. Besides, because I did bad in mathematics and physics, I had to do much more exercises than other courses, which made me discouraged. I spent more than ten hours a day in studying. When I was tired, I watched TV or listened to music for a little while. But It was a big pity that I couldn't go to the see cinema. I desperately hoped that there is no exam but I know it’s impossible. The only thing I can do is to study hard to get good scores and can be admitted to Tsinghua University.

During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown in the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, so that I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this small village in the past years. Almost every family in the village had color TV set and some of them had computers. Many families had their houses newly built or rebuilt. Previously,could be seen everywhere, but now they have taken on an entirely newlook. Motorcycles or even private cars are not luxuries any more.
寒假期間，因為春節和其他原因我很開心。假期期間，我父母和我回到河北的鄉下老家。我已經好幾年沒回去了，所以看到過去這些年這座小村莊發生的巨大變化我感到很驚訝。幾乎村裡的每一戶人家都有彩電，有的還有了電腦。很多家庭都有了新建的或重建的房子。以前，老式瓦房隨處可見，但是現在它們看上去完全是一幅新的景象。摩托車或者甚至是私家車也已不再是奢侈品了。
One of the villagers proudly told me that he and some other villagers were going to join a tour and travel abroad. Previously, the villagers were busy in their farm work all the year round, but now they have much more time and money to relax or entertain. Traveling has become a new trend among villagers. Seeing these amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown as soon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.
