前兩行標識磁碟及其序列號碼。

Directory of 這一行告訴你所列檔案所在的目錄(組)。隨後兩行是目錄資訊。

以下數行，以為例，此行各療分的意義如下：

△TXT是副檔名。FILE1和FILE2無副檔名

△28160是檔案所佔的位元組數。一個位元組=一個字元

△11-11-95是檔案建立日期，如改變檔案重新存檔，MS-DOS將此項更新為該檔案的修改日期。

△8：34 a 是檔案建立時間。同日期一樣MS-DOS在修改存檔後更新此項。
