Youth is a precious gift and a golden time in our life. When we are young , we are strong and healthy. It is the time for us to prepare ourselves to become responsible citizens.

Youth comes only once in a lifetime, therefore, it is important that we should not waste those years in idleness and bad living. This is also the time when our memories are best. We are able to learn more during this time than when we become older. During our younger years, we have the enthusiasm to set high goals for ourselves. We also try to overcome obstacles which are placed in our way.

If we realize how precious youth is, we will be fulfilled when we are young as well as when we are older. If we waste our youth, we will spend the rest of our lives wishing we could be young again.

Killing Time Indoors

Nowadays a growing number of people, especiallythe 20s or 30s, tend to stay indoors for most of their spare time, especially on holidays. Somespend the majority of the time online chatting, blogging, shopping, dating or playing computergames. Some sit with their eyes glued to the television screen, day and night.

People's opinions vary when it comes to this way of killing time. A great number of people maintain that staying indoors is cheap, comfortable, and most importantly, very safe. Others,however, frown upon staying indoors for too long. They are worried that lack of physical exercise and face-to-face communication with others will do harm to people's body and mind.

Personally, I don't think staying indoors for most of the day should be advocated. Instead,people in all ages, their physical conditions permitting, should be encouraged to spend more time outdoors. The brilliant sunshine, the pleasant green space, the interactions with other people, etc. are all good for people's health, both physically and psychologically.

First of all, fruit is good for our skin. Fruit has rich trace elements and vitamin, which can nourish the skin. The makeup is hard to reach its effect. Besides, some fruit have the effect of delaying senescence for the elements their contain. So, eating more fruit can make skin better and look more beautiful.

首先,水果有益於我們的皮膚。水果具有豐富的微量元素和維生素這些可以滋養皮膚的東西。這是化妝品也無法達到的效果。除此之外,有些水果因其含有的成分可以起到延緩衰老的作用。因此,多吃水果可以讓皮膚更好,也可以讓人看起來更漂亮。

Secondly, fruit is good for our health. It helps to prevent and treat disease. Fruit is helpful to treat cardiovascular disease, dental ulcer and so on. The people who eat fruit often have less risk to get those diseases.

其次,水果有益於我們的健康,有助於預防治療疾病。對於治療心血管疾病、口腔潰瘍等大有好處。長吃水果的人患這些疾病的概率相對較低。

Last, fruit is delicious. Different fruit have different tastes. Many people like eating it as snacks. For me, eating delicious food can make me feel happy. I often eat apple, pear, banana, litchi and so on. I like them.

最後,水果是很美味的。不同的水果有不同的味道。很多人都喜歡把水果當零食吃。對於我來說,吃到美味的事物可以讓我快樂。我經常吃蘋果、雪梨、香蕉、荔枝等水果。我很喜歡。

To sum up, fruit is really good for us, inside and outside. We should take some in our daily life, but we should not eat excessively.
