Adele榮獲Billboard年度大滿冠

Adele made music history Friday, topping three charts, as Billboard released their numbers for what they're calling the "year of the woman."
　　Adele在週五又爲流行音樂歷史添上了濃墨重彩的一筆。當Billboard公佈年度登榜次數數據時，Adele榮登榜首，獲得“年度女歌手”的稱號。

The soul songstress became the first woman to top the Billboard 200 Album chart for her album 21, the Hot 100 song chart for her song Rolling in the Deep, and the Top Artists chart in the same year. The only other artists or musical acts to claim all three were Usher (2004), 50 Cent (2003), George Michael (1988) and the group Ace of Base (1994).

21 spent 13 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 in 2011 -- more weeks in one year than any other album since the 1998 Titanic soundtrack.

Adele's fellow female singers also made history this year, as, for the first time, the four Top Artists were women, with Rihanna, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga following Adele.

另外緊隨Adele其後的女歌手也爲流行音樂歷史添加了新的一頁，又是一個第一次，四位女歌手坐擁最佳藝人榜前4甲，她們分別是：R&M小天后Rihanna, “水果姐”Katy Perry和“雷人酵母”Lady Gaga。
