職場英語日記 第52期:心曠神怡

I am fAlling for Sean. Every time he calls me I get excited and when I think of him I get butterflies in my stomach. I haven't felt like this about someone in a long time and it's little bit scary. But I know he likes me,too,and that makes me feel very secure. I can't believe how wrong I was about him at first.

我愛上西恩了。每次接到他電話都會很興奮，一想到他也會變得有點緊張。我已經很久沒有對別人產生這種感覺了，有點害怕;不過我知道他也喜歡我，想到這點就覺得很安心。真不敢相信當初對他有那麼大的誤解。

I thought he was a materialistic, selfish jerk. But he's totally not. He's funny and sweet and he cares about the same things as me-friends, family, experiencing new things and meeting new people. Sure, he likes nice cars, fancy restaurants, and good wine. But what's wrong with that? I like nice things, too. Also, he wants to take me shopping on the weekend. I have never dated a guy who likes to shop before!

本來以爲他是那種又物質又自私自利的蠢蛋，結果完全不是。他既風趣又可愛，和我一樣在乎友誼、家人，也喜歡體驗新事物、認識新朋友。當然，他喜歡好車、高級餐廳和好酒，不過這沒什麼不對，好東西我也喜歡啊!還有，他會在週末帶我去逛街。我以前從沒和喜歡逛街的男生約會過!

And I finally understand why he loves cars. He look me for a long drive last night and it was wonderful. We just headed up the coast highway with no destination in mind. It was really relaxing after my incident with my cranky landlady.

我終於明白他爲什麼喜歡車子了。他昨晚載我開了很長時間的車，感覺很奇妙。我們沿着海岸公路漫無目的地開，整個人覺得好放鬆，不再被昨天的暴躁女房東事件影響心情。

He knew I was upset and he wanted to take my mind off it. He likes to take care of me, and I like that.

他知道我有點煩，想要幫我轉移注意力。他喜歡照顧我，我也喜歡被他照顧。
