第一，核心詞

好我們來定義一下核心詞，什麼是核心詞？和關鍵詞有什麼差別？

關鍵詞是每個選項中的3-5個重要的動詞、名詞、副詞、形容詞和否定詞。

核心詞是選項的關鍵詞中有一個詞或者兩個詞能互相區分A/B/C/D。不是所有題目都可以提取出核心詞的。核心詞的提取關鍵看選項特徵。 

相同類型的選項或者同方向性的題目容易提取。例如：

A）He will lose part of his pay.

B）He will go through retraining.

C）He will be given a warning.

D）He is go good terms with his workmates.

What will happen to the press operator who was late for the work according to the woman? 

該題目三個選項都是在說懲罰，最後一個是正向的。他們都有類似方向。於是ABCD一定有這樣的核心詞去區別彼此。提取出的核心詞爲：pay, retaining, warning和 workmates.心中有四個能彼此區分的。

原文：

M: One of the press operators arrived an hour and a half late.

W: But that's a straightforward affair. He will simply lose part of his pay. That's why we have a clock-in system.

集中注意力去檢索以上四個核心詞是否在聲音信號中出現，而不用去檢索所有選項的關鍵詞。

提取核心詞的目的是爲什麼？

爲了聽的過程中，減少聽力的認知加工，也爲了有目的的主動的去聽題目。做到carry全文的掌控感。

我們再來舉個例子：

 A） House are much more quiet .

B） They want to have more space.

C） They want a garden of their own.

D） Houses provide more privacy.

 Why do British people prefer houses to flats?

這道題的選項的共性：他們想要什麼樣的房子？A-B的核心詞分別是：quiet、more space、garden more、privacy。意味着我們聽15題的時候，有目的的專門聽到底是安靜的、空間大的、自己的花園還是隱私的。核心詞可以減少盲目性和選項的干擾性。

原文：

M: Yeah. It's about being private. You go home to your house and your garden and you close the door. It's your place.

W: That's why the British don't like flats. They prefer to live in houses.

第二、對立選項

有的題目雖然有四個選項，但是選項內部有相互對立或者相互對應的選項。例如：

 A) Each flock of butterflies lays eggs in the same states.

B) They start to lay eggs when they are nine months old.

C) Each generation in a cycle lays eggs at a different place.

D) Only the strongest can reach their destination to lay eggs.

 What does the speaker say about the monarch butterflies’ reproduction?

選項中兩個明顯對立的選項：A與C。產卵在相同或者不同的地方。

這樣我們聽選項的時候更加有針對性，降低了干擾性，準確率在沒有聽音頻前，就提高了50%。

原文：

The average monarch lives about nine month. So when fly the north, they might lay eggs in Louisiana and die. The eggs of that following generation may be found in Kentucky, the eggs of next generation may be in the Kang Michigan.

在聽到文章描述產卵時提高了在Louisiana、Kentucky和Michigan三個地方。這樣直接就可以選出正確選項：C。這道題目如果看不出選項的玄機，做起來就困難很多。
