歌曲Boy Or Girl歌手來自美國底特律的Electric Six，是一個包括主唱Dick Valentine, 吉它手Rock and Roll Indian、Surge Joebot，貝斯手Disco，鍵盤手Tait Nucleus 和鼓手Martin M六人在內的Disco-Punk樂隊。其前身是成立於1996的the wildbunch，當時是一支不折不扣的底特律Garage Rock(車庫搖滾)樂隊，曾發表過一張《Rock Empire》專輯及零碎的單曲。然後他們開始在其車房搖滾本位上加入Disco與Funk的舞曲成分。2002年簽約XL Recordings旗下後，他們換了個更酷、更有性格的名字，於是Electric Six便從此誕生了,接着就有了2003的新專輯《Fire》，也就有了《Danger!High Voltage》這首歌。
其實每一件事情都是好事多磨的，Electric Six也不例外。作爲樂隊靈魂核心人物Dick Valentine，在2003到2004年經歷了一整串的團員大變動，先是"Fire"面世的前夕，兩位吉他手The Rock And Roll Indian和Surge Joebot以及Disco結伴離去，令樂隊差點兒解散,到後來的新加入的成員的開隊，再更換，一直到看似對"dick情人"忠心耿耿鼓手M的離開，不過這些都是過去的事情了，但只要有Dick在，Electric Six新作品就會不斷。
